
Maria Perez, Pre-doctoral Intern
Maria R. Perez is a Pre-Doctoral Intern who is working on her doctoral dissertation study titled; Examining the Lived Experiences of Divorce Among Hispanic Parents, as part of the requirement for completing her degree from Walden University. Maria received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She earned her Master of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix.
Maria has an extensive background in counseling, psychological testing, psychological assessment, stress management, grief and loss, autism, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and various other psychological conditions. She enjoys working with children and will seek certification in Play Therapy. Maria is bilingual in Spanish and works with all populations.
