Dr. Jacqueline Del Fierro Avila is a licensed professional counselor-supervisor (LPC-S) and currently a post-doctoral clinical psychology intern. Dr. Del Fierro Avila earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She earned her first Master’s degree in general counseling from Webster University and her second Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Walden University. Dr. Del Fierro Avila completed her academic journey by earning her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Walden University. Her doctoral dissertation, Stress and Marital Satisfaction of Parents of children with Fragile X Syndrome, was published in 2017.
With more than 10 years experience, Dr. Del Fierro Avila has extensive training in counseling, psychological testing, psychological assessment, stress management, grief and loss, autism, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and various other psychological conditions. She is bilingual in Spanish and works with all populations.
